Born in Yokohama in Japan, Asami Takei began her piano studies at age four with her mother. Asami learned the piano under Noriko Yokohama (Associate Professor in Musashino Academia Musicae).
She studied chemistry at University of Kitasato and Tokyo Institute of Technology. Asami holds a Masters in Scienceand after graduating university she started to work as a chemical engineer but kept up her piano studies.
From 2020 Asami learned at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and studied under Elena Rui and Alexander Adakove, and hold Professional diploma.
